David Bishop

David is a lifelong resident of the Bloomfield area and began his real estate career in 1976. In 1978 he opened his own company under the name of David Bishop Realty & Auction Company. In 2008 the named was changed to Bishop Realty & Auction, LLC. David is a graduate of St. Michaels Grade School, Bloomfield High School and Western Ky. University with a Bachelors Degree in Business. As a member of U.S. Army National Guard Unit in Bardstown, Ky. he served in the Vietnam War in 1968-1969. For over 25 years he was the Tobacco Auctioneer for the local market in Bloomfield, Ky. selling from 6 to 10 million lbs. of tobacco each year. In addition to his Real Estate & Auction background, he is Sr. Vice President & Director for King Southern Bank in Bloomfield, Ky.
